THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD....EVER!.......KISS ROCKS!

No, not Freefall Vertigo, we're not that big-headed... I was fortunate enough to be at the opening night of the KISS 'Sonic Boom Over Europe' Tour - Sheffield Arena, 1st May 2010.

What an unbelievable show by a band that truly defines the word 'legendary'.
The last time I saw Kiss was in the non-make up years at Donington '88 (the Iron Maiden headliner show). To be honest, I was a little disappointed in them. Without the make-up and the completely over-the-top stage show, KISS were just another rock/metal band with some reasonable songs.
At Sheffield on Saturday 1st May, I took my 11 year old daughter to her first ever rock gig as a belated birthday present. We were all completely awed by just how good KISS were on the night. A completely stunning, theatrical, pyrotechnic and gimmick-laden show that in no way detracted from the awesome array of hit after hit from their immense back catalogue spanning no less than 36 years!
Despite Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons being 58 and 61 years old respectively, they stomped and leapt around the stage like 30-somethings! They were even flying around the stage and arena on wires and trapezes!
A mind-blowing night that should rank in the 101 things to do before you die...EXPERIENCE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD DELIVER THE BEST LIVE SHOW YOU'LL EVER SEE!
